Badlees Announce Two LIVE Shows

The First in Nearly 5 Years

New Album, Love Is Rain, Available Now

Central-PA, October 26, 2009 – The Badlees have scheduled two performances in the central Pennsylvania area:  Nov. 21 in Pottsville and Nov. 22 in Harrisburg.  These shows mark the first time in nearly 5 years that the full band has performed together on stage.  Several members of the original management and crew will also be involved in these dates, making the events a reunion of sorts for this PA-based band that in the mid to late 90′s hit the charts with two top 5 national rock tracks and toured the country with everyone from Bob Seger to The Allman Brothers.

Here are the details for these shows:

Four of the five original members now make up the Badlees:  Pete Palladino, Bret Alexander, Paul Smith and Ron Simasek.  Jeff Feltenberger left the band in 2004.  As a special guest at these shows, Aaron Fink of muilti-platinum act Breaking Benjamin will be filling in on guitar.

Band member/producer Bret Alexander has been very active in working with other area bands.  He produced the early Breaking Benjamin recordings which led to their major label deal.  All of the opening bands for these shows are also being produced by him.  The connections don’t stop there – Pan.a.ce.a is managed by former Badlees manager, Terry Selders.  And Marc Levin of HotWingJones is an attorney at Rhoads & Sinon (the “Rocklawyers”) who counts The Badlees among his clients.

The Badlees’ new CD, Love is Rain, was released to the public on October 6th.  The long awaited disc (the last album was 2002′s Renew) has received high praise from the press and it sold out almost immediately at web-based retailers.  Given the current state of the recording industry and the trend of top bands taking their music directly to the fans, The Badlees self-released Love Is Rain, placing it only in local Gallery Of Sound stores and on the Internet at places like  It can also be purchased directly from the band at  Digital downloads and song samples are available now at and soon at iTunes.  Ringtones are online at

The Badlees would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Chris Gardner for his unwavering support of the band.  Chris is the executive producer of Love Is Rain and promoter of the Pottsville show.
