Harrisburg, PA July 3, 2012 – The Small Town Titan’s self-titled debut EP was released as a digital download today at SmallTownTitans.bandcamp.com. It will remain exclusively with Bandcamp for one week, then iTunes, Amazon.com and all other digital retailers will have it on July 10th. (Update – iTunes and others went on it early.) Fans can purchase physical CDs from the band beginning July 27th at the Coliseum show in Camp Hill, PA, and then from local and internet retailers in August.
The 5-song release was recorded and mixed by producer Jason Rubal at Seventh Wave Studios in Harrisburg, PA. Jason works at various studios around the US and internationally, and is very selective about the artists he works with. Jason says that “the band’s name may have ‘small’ in it but their sound is the exact opposite. We had a blast making this record and I am thrilled to see what these kids have in store for the industry. They are more than ready!”
The track listing is as follows:
1. Party in Hell
2. Casting Stones Among the Wicked
4. State of Unknown
5. Sky High
The first single for Active Rock Radio will be “Party in Hell” (radio version available from Susquehanna Entertainment). Hot AC and CHR will get “State of Unknown” at the same time.
Full songs can be streamed from various sources including Bandcamp and Facebook (facebook.com/smalltowntitans). Press and radio can contact Susquehanna Entertainment for downloadable MP3’s and broadcast quality wav files.

The Small Town Titans is a 5-piece hard rock band that formed barely a year ago in Annville, PA, where most of the members went to Lebanon Valley College. Their aggressive style, tight arrangements and dynamic lead singer are already getting attention. They won LVC’s battle of the bands last fall and signed with Susquehanna Entertainment earlier this year. After seeing their performance at the Millennium Music Conference in February, Jim Price of the Altoona Mirror and Pennsylvania Musician wrote “This quintet delivered bracing, hard-nosed modern rock with strong melodies, intensity and swagger. This group was led by an impressive frontman, Phil Freeman, who exuded fearless confidence and a powerful, far-ranging voice.”
