The Large Flowerheads

Review by Jim Allford
PA Music
November 2010

The Large Flowerheads are a great ’60′s cover band hailing from Allentown, PA. The members include: Maureen ‘Moe’ Jerant on drums; Greg Geist on guitar; Bill Trexler on guitar and Dano Dave D’ Amelio on keys and bass. The band can cover any ’60′s song with ease and the harmonies are great to hear.

They have 2 cd’s out recorded Live at Puck in Doylestown, Pa. I must admit, I would love to hear them do a studio version of all the songs. There is no doubt they would do all the songs justice. Some of there best cover songs include: Daydream Believer, Double Shot of My Baby’s Love; Rescue Me/Knock on Wood and the list goes and on. Anyone that ever needs a great ’60′s cover band, this is one to get. They definitely are a crowd pleaser and you’ll be singing with them after the first few songs.

I highly recommend their 2 cd’s for any type of road trip, they will get you into the groove. Job well done… now go check them out for yourself. Let them know I sent you.

I thank you LARGE FLOWERHEADS for the trip you can take anyone on just by watching and listening to you.

Best Regards,
