Distorted Voices is 4-piece band who hail from the Poconos in Northeast Pennsylvania. Their brand of music can only be described as “In Your Face” Pop-Rock-Metal-Instrumental. They take it to another level with energy and emotion not seen in too many bands today. Tom Martini is a virtuoso on the guitar, Chuck Oehler has piercing vocals, Drew Mollica plays deep rhythms and Jut Fiertag is a percussion specialist extraordinare. After 3 years in a basement, personnel changes and a passion to take it to the limit, they have finally achieved their goal.
This is probably some of the best work I’ve heard come out of the Poconos in ages. These guys are so together and tight that it is scary. The intensity and emotions are at such a high level that it is hard to put into words.
“Reason to Live” has a great retro feel to it. The riffs are sharp and the vocals invade your ears. One of my favorites! “I Know” is a mid-tempo rocker with a Tom Martini solo that is awesome. Nice hook! “Scream” is a kick-ass monster that fits in with today’s sound. Chuck Oehler’s vocals are piercing, the guitar work is over the edge and the rhythms are driving!
“Falling” has some nice changes throughout that morph nicely into some high energy rock. “Distorted Voices” is an instrumental metal monster! Tom’s guitar is wailing and Jut slams the percussion into high gear. This would make a great “B” side to a single. “Visions” is another slammin instrumental that would make Jeff Beck blush. Some of the best work I’ve heard in many years. This would make the pros take a step back! Totally Awesome!

I would give this a MUST LISTEN and 2 THUMBS UP!
