Twelve Twenty Four – Miracle on Rock St.

Review by Mike McKenna
PA Music
November 2010

Twelve – Twenty Four has finally done it! It took nine long years to put it together, get all the right parts and record it. “Miracle on Rock Street” is a masterpiece of music and talent. From the opening to the closing, this masterful effort combines the sounds of a dynamic rock band with the full sounds of a melodic orchestra.

Established in 2002, they started out as a recreation of the resounding TSO, and have now evolved to debut their first full length holiday album of their own. In the traditions of Manheim Steamroller and Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Twelve-Twenty Four performs the classics with their own signature sound and instrumentation. They are composed of a 4 piece string section, a 6 member rock band, 5 lead vocalists, a narrator, and Angel to make up this ensemble of your favorite Christmas tunes with the rock edge of a concert for families of all ages.

This is a must for the lover of clean, crisp rock and roll and ELO sounding orchestration on favorites that you will instantly recognize. The songs have catchy names also such as the new single “God Rock Ye Merry Gentlemen”, “Funky Little Xmas” and “Celtic Noelle”

Twelve-twenty Four is performing in the area and plans to do the tracks from “Miracle on Rock Street” in their 2010 Regional Tour. Do yourself a big favor, CHECK THEM OUT! It will be a night of music and talent you will never forget!
